How to Use the Twister Arm Trainer

Step 1 — Connect the first handle

Press the spring button on the chrome tube and slide the tube into the handle until the button pops through the hole. (You’ll hear/feel a click.)

Step 2 — Set the interface position

Rotate/slide the tube so the button aligns with either the external or internal hole (this determines resistance—details below). Let the button lock fully.

Step 3 — Attach the second handle

Repeat the same process on the other end: press button → insert → align hole → lock.

Step 4 — Safety check

Gently pull both handles to confirm both buttons are fully seated and the foam grips face the same direction. The trainer should now look like a closed “U/oval”

Choose Your Resistance

There are 3 adjustable levels based on where you lock the tubes:

Level 1 (Easiest)

Both ends on the external interfaces.

Level 2 (Medium)

One end external, one end internal.

Level 3 (Hardest)

Both ends on the internal interfaces.

How to Perform the Standard Chest/Arm Squeeze

Step 1 — Stance & setup

Stand tall, core tight, feet shoulder-width. Hold a padded handle in each hand, elbows slightly bent and raised to chest height.

Step 2 — Start position

Keep wrists neutral (not bent), shoulders down and back. The trainer should be open (handles apart).

Step 3 — Power phase

Exhale and squeeze the handles together in front of your chest in a smooth arc. Don’t jerk; keep elbows under control.

Step 4 — Peak contraction

When the handles nearly meet (or reach your comfortable range), pause for 1 second and feel the chest/arms working.

Step 5 — Controlled return

Inhale and slowly release back to the start over 2–3 seconds, keeping tension throughout.

Step 6 — Sets & reps

Start with 2–3 sets of 8–12 reps on a level that feels challenging but controlled. Rest 60–90 seconds between sets. Increase resistance only when you can complete all reps with perfect form.
